Week 2!

Greetings!

I'm a day late on posting this, but here's what's happening for the rest of the week in the YA department.  (On a side note: thanks to all of you who came to Teen Movie Night.  I have never seen brownies/popcorn disappear so quickly!  Hope you all enjoyed the movie).

Wednesday, June 27th - Teen Game Night @ 6 PM.  We'll be playing Apples to Apples!  Free (full) raffle tickets to all who attend and bonus for those who have the most green cards.

Friday, June 29th - It's our first Fitness Friday!  Someone from Healthtrax will be here at 12 PM for a Zumba class!  Free raffle tickets for those who check it out.

Also, the new picture puzzle is up!  This week our theme is movie characters.  One lucky winner will get a gift card to the Ice Cream Churn!  Good luck!

Props to You!

Hola, Teens!

Have I told you lately how awesome I think you all are?  You have come to the library in droves the last week (and a day!) to sign up for summer reading!  I am so excited that you are so pumped for the YA programs and prizes this year.  If you haven't signed up, make sure you stop by.  If you have already signed up, make sure to tell your friends how awesome it is and send them down!

Summer Reading Books

Greetings!
Before you know it, your teachers will be reminding you of your summer reading assignment.  Before you take a trip to B&N, make sure you stop in the YA department first.  The summer reading books for the Bristol Public Schools (high school and grades 7/8) have been pulled and are ready to be read.  (St. Paul books are on their way!)

You'll have to stop by the library to peruse what's available as you are not able to place holds on summer reading materials.

Don't wait til the last minute - get your books early!  You can register for my amazing summer reading program while you're at it!

Summer Reading Registration

Greetings, all.

Once again, I find myself embarrassingly lax in my blogging.  However, I promise you that I have been hard at work planning a fabulous summer reading program.

Registration will begin on June 18th.  Stop in that day to sign up and you will be treated to bonus snacks! That's right - we're having a registration party.  You'll also get your summer reading packet and copious amounts of candy.

For all of you super-ambitious students out there, your summer reading books will also be available.  Get a head start on your reading assignment so you are not scrambling for a book at the end of summer.

I hope to see you all in a few weeks!
