Greetings, all. Once again, I apologize for being lax on the updates here. My quest to keep you all well-informed continues with more regularity.
Here's what we have going on in April.
Wednesday, April 4th - Dust off those dictionaries and brush up on your word skills for our Teen Scrabble Tournament. Challenge your friends - or me! - to a game. This program will begin at 6 PM.
Monday, April 9th - Teen Movie Night at 5:30 PM. We will be showing a movie with a talking frog, pig, and other assorted characters. Have you guessed what it is yet? We will also have a make your own sundae bar - delicious!
Wednesday, April 25th - Register for Teen Craft Night. We'll be pulling out the polymer clay to make creations that look good enough to eat! Everyone should have a clay cheeseburger charm! This program will begin at 6:30 PM.
That's a wrap - check back to see what we'll be up to in May. Also, I'm trying to diligently update my book lists so keep your eyes open for new additions.

February "Stuff"
Greetings, all!
Just wanted to give you a heads up on some great programs we'll be offering in February. Remember those New Year's Resolutions you made a million years ago (er, 32ish days ago) where you said you wanted to get in shape? Well, the BPL is here to help!
On February 18th, grab a group of friends and come to the library for a FREE Zumba class. If you've never tried Zumba before, now is the time to do it. You will have so much fun you won't even realize that you're exercising! This class will start at 2 PM.
Also, if you love to cook or just like to eat, come to a free, hands-on, cooking demonstration on February 28th. You'll get to see great food prepared right in front of you and get some recipes to try at home. This program will start at 6 PM and we ask that you please RSVP if you would like to attend.

February Events!
Hola YA-ers!
Hope that your 2012 is off to a fabulous start!
I've been very busy this month in the YA department creating some new displays, planning programs, and reading as many books as possible so that I can recommend them to you all.
Here's what I've got planned for February:
Wednesday, 2/1 @ 6 PM - Teen Game Night. We'll be playing one of my favorite games, Apples to Apples.
Monday, 2/6 @ 5:30 PM- Teen Movie Night - I'm not allowed to post movie titles on here, but see if you can guess what we'll be watching: the sequel to a movie about a panda bear who knows martial arts. As always, I will be making delicious movie snacks to go along with this program.
Monday, 2/13 @ 6:30 PM - Teen Craft Night. We'll be making a bouquet of origami heart flowers. You can write messages inside and turn them in to cool Valentine's for your BF/GF/BFF!
I will also be doing another candy guessing contest all month long so stop in to try your luck at my Jar O' Deliciousness!
